Angel Face

Angel Face is a classic cocktail published in Harry Craddock´s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book. Is also listed on the International Bartenders Association (IBA) website in the “The Unforgettable” category.

This is a 3 straight forward ingredients cocktail, and boozy. In fact, Harry notes on his book to “shake well and strain into cocktail glass”, perhaps to obtain a lower temperature and more dilution. However, shake these three ingredients breaks all the consistency of the liquid, when should be stirred – a long stir.
