Barney Barnato
The Barney Barnato cocktail is another creation of Harry Craddock and is published in his 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.
The cocktail is named after Barney Barnato who was a British Randlord, one of the entrepreneurs who gained control of diamond mining, and later gold mining, in South Africa from the 1870s.
The recipe also appears in the U.K.B.G. 1937 Approved Cocktails.
