Between the Sheets
Between-the-sheets is a classic cocktail created, during Prohibition in early 1930 by Harry MacElhone of Harry’s New York Bar in Paris and derived from the Sidecar cocktail.
The recipe can also be found in Harry Craddock 1930 “The Savoy Cocktail Book” and in U.K.B.G. 1937 “Approved Cocktails” which Harry co-founded in 1934 with William J. Tarling.
