Byrrh Special

Some cocktails have little to say but are written and repeated in many vintage cocktail books that deserve our attention.

Byrrh is a wine-based aperitif founded in the 19th Century in France and very popular until Prohibition.

The Byrrh Special cocktail is on Harry Craddock 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book and can also be found on the William J. Tarling 1937 Café Royal Cocktail Book.
