Fourth Regiment
The Fourth Regiment cocktail appeared in the early 20th century and was published in Charles H. Baker Jr.’s 1931 Gentleman’s Companion: An Exotic Drinks Book.
There, he describes the drink like a merely Manhattan Cocktail spiced with a dash o celery, Angostura, and orange bitters. Curiously, he mentioned not understand why the orange bitters were included when the Angostura dominates.
