The Jupiter Martini was first published in Harry McElhone’s 1923 ABC of Mixing Drinks and also appears in Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.

The Jupiter Cocktail is a Martini-style cocktail and the original recipe calls for a 19th-century liquor, Parfait Amour which has been forgotten but is still available.
