Porn Star Martini was created in 2005 by Douglas Ankrah at The Townhouse bar in Knightsbridge, London.

The Pornstar Martini was created by Douglas Ankrah in 2005, upon returning from a trip to Cape Town. While in Cape Town, Douglas had visited the city’s premier gentleman’s club Mavericks, giving him the inspiration for new cocktail creation.

Initially dubbing it Maverick Martini, then later renamed to Porn Star Martini.

Douglas also launched a natural grain spirit of 100% passionfruit purée. The Pornstar Cocktail pre-mix is said to “perfectly capture the flavor profile of the original Pornstar Martini”, cutting down the preparation time from three minutes to 30 seconds.

This cocktail with such a provocative name is the best-seller across the UK.
