White Lion
The original recipe of White Lion comes in Jerry Thomas 1862 Bartender’s Guide, but throughout the time, the recipe suffered a couple of small changes.
In Harry Johnson’s 1882 New and Improved Bartender’s Manual, he adjusts the measures and adds berries in the season as a garnish.
Also, Jacques Straub 1913 Straub’s Manual of Mixed Drinks, added Angostura Bitters to the recipe.
