Siembra Azul is cultivated in the Golden Triangle of the Highlands in the state of Jalisco, with an ideal acidic, iron-rich soil for growing large agaves with high sugar content.

 

Highland agave takes 7-10 years to mature, as opposed to the Lowlands 5-8 years maturation.

 

Siembra Azul is produced with traditional methods at the Vivanco’s distillery.
