Potocki

Potocki Wódka

Country: Poland

Raw material: Rye

Alcohol: 40%

Potocki Vodka is created from the highest quality rye sourced in fields around distillery in central Poland.

Fresh from the harvest each August, the grain is milled, and cooked under pressure. The mash goes through two slow distillations in a column still. The common process of charcoal filtration is intentionally omitted as this would unnecessarily strip the vodka of its character.

The vodka is named after Count Alfred Wojcieeh Potocki who was a Polish nobleman, landowner, political and economic activist in the 19th century. The label represents piława, a coat of arms used by noble families in the medieval period and later under the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.
