Ocho Blanco

Country: Jalisco, Mexico

Raw material: Blue Weber Agave

Alcohol: 40%

NOM: 1474

Producer: Cía. Tequilera Los Alambiques

Tequila Ocho was created by Carlos Camarena, a third-generation Tequilero, in partnership with Tomas Estes, the “Ambassador of Tequila” in the European Union.

Produced in La Alteña distillery in Jalisco, Mexico where the Camarena family has an established distillery since 1937. The family is recognized for making only 100% agave tequila.

The tequila is produced only from agave harvested on their own field, using the traditional artisanal way. They leave the agave to ripe for eight years, to then use around eight kilograms of it to make one liter of Ocho tequila – high volume compared to the industry average.
