Château de Laubade was built in 1870 and is today the premier Armagnac property composed of 260 acres of single vineyard.

 

It is located in Sorbets d’Armagnac, in the heart of the noblest area of the appellation: the Bas Armagnac.

 

In 1974, Maurice Lesgourgues has acquired the Château de Laubade, and the family has been running the estate ever since.

 

Château de Laubade V.S.O.P. is a production from a single vineyard in Bas Armagnac and four traditional grape varieties, coming exclusively from the property.

 

Single distillation and maturation between 6 and 12 years in Gascony oak cask –  grape variety by grape variety.

Aroma: Rich bouquet with ripe fruits, plum, pastry, vanilla and citrus aromas

Taste: Sweet, delicate and long
