Martell Cognac

V.S. Single Distillery

Country: Cognac, France

Raw material: Ugni Blanc

Alcohol: 40%

Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, was founded in 1715 by Jean Martell and has remained a family business since.

Martell is produced with grapes growing in the region of Cognac, clear white wine from grapes harvested which begins its transformation into eau-de-vie through traditional copper pot stills.

At Martell, the barrels are lightly toasted/burnt inside to help release the complex flavours within the oak.

In this case, Martell V.S. Single Distillery cognac marries spirits from a single distillation and ages for a minimum of 2 years.
