Grappa di Sassicaia is produced with the pomace of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes by Poli Distillery.

 

Sassicaia is a single vintage grappa distilled in small batches by means of steam, aged in oak barrels for 6 months in which the Sassicaia wine was previously refined.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Light amber

Aroma: Greenstone fruits, and herbal

Taste: Wooden, cocoa and liquorice on the nose, well-rounded on the palate
