High West Distillery was established in 2006 and becomes Utah’s first legal distillery since 1870.

 

Owned by David Perkins and his wife, Jane David, this first distillery Park City is where they began distilling in 2007. In 2015, High West opened their second distillery in Wanship, Utah.

 

American Prairie Bourbon is a complex blend of straight bourbons whiskeys aged 2 to 13 years, resulting in an aromatic whiskey.

 

It named after the American Prairie Reserve, a group working to create the largest wildlife reserve in the lower 48 states.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Light amber

Aroma: Light caramel and sweet vanilla

Taste: Rich and earthy on the palate with well-balanced flavours of candy corn, and honey nougat
