Sazerac whiskey is a product from Buffalo Trace distillery located in Franklin County and has been expanding since 1773.

The distillery’s rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor Jr, Albert B. Blanton, George T. Stagg, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee.

The famed Sazerac Coffee House was founded in 1850 on Exchange Alley in New Orleans, Louisiana and soon gained fame as the home of “America’s First Cocktail” known as the Sazerac.
