Chita distillery was established in 1972 by Keizo Saji, Suntory’s second Master Blender, on the misty and calm shores of Chita Peninsula, dedicated to creating the highest-quality Japanese grain whisky.

 

Released in September 2015, Suntory Single Grain Whisky Chita is completely different from the ordinary grain whiskies used in blended whisky.

 

Made with diverse unblended whiskey brewing techniques and master craftsmanship. Is aged in wine and Spanish Oak casks, in addition to American White Oak for greater complexity and depth of flavour.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Bright gold

Aroma: Crème brûlée, cardamom, acacia honey, blossoming rose

Taste: Mild and smooth, a hint of mint, deep honey
