Aberlour was founded in 1879 by James Fleming in Aberlour, County Banffshire.

 

Aberlour whiskey is made with barley and soft water from a nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes.

 

The craft new spirit is usually matured for a minimum of 12 years both in the finest hand-picked Oloroso Sherry butts and American Oak barrels.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Golden amber

Aroma: Soft and rounded with fruity notes of red apple

Taste: A fine Sherried character, fruity aromas balanced with rich chocolate
