The distillery Buffalo Trace is still family-owned and located in Franklin County, which has been expanding since 1773.

 

The distillery’s rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor, Jr, George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp and Elmer T. Lee.

 

The name is in honour of the buffalos that cross the Kentucky River near the site.

 

Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from the finest corn, rye and barley malt, this whiskey ages in new oak barrels for years in century-old warehouses until the peak of maturity.
