Byrrh-Cassis

Some cocktails have little to say but are written and repeated in many vintage cocktail books that deserve our attention.

Byrrh is a wine-based aperitif founded in the 19th Century in France and very popular until Prohibition.

Byrrh-Cassis cocktail can be found in Harry MacElhone 1923 ABC of Mixing Drinks and also in Harry Craddock 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.
