Christian Drouin Calvados

Sélection

Country: Calvados, France

Raw material: Apple and pear

Alcohol: 40%

The story of Christian Drouin started in 1960 when Christian Drouin senior became the owner of the Fiefs Sainte-Anne on the Gonneville hills, near Honfleur. The farm was planted with cider-apple trees and soon the desire to produce his own Calvados.

Together with Christian Drouin junior they developed and expand the production, and follows through generations.

Christian Drouin Sélection is a combination of the sharp freshness of perry pears with the smoothness of cider apples.

The ciders and perries are distilled in a column still and then aged in vintage casks that preserve the subtle balance of the Calvados.
