El Espolòn Tequila was founded in 1995 and is produced at San Nicolas Distillery and takes its name from the “spur” found on the back of the rooster’s leg.

 

Each label tells a Mexican story in tribute to José Guadalupe Posada.

 

El Espolòn Blanco is the tequila base. Created in the famed hills of Los Altos, the Blanco tequila is double distilled using column and pot stills, and unaged.
