Ferrand Cognac

Ferrand Cognac story begins back in 1630 by Elie Ferrand, who was the start of 10 successive generations.
The vines are planted on the Angeac terroir in the heart of Grande Champagne, considered the Premier Cru de Cognac.
Ferrand Cognac is distilled slowly in small pot stills which helps concentrate the aromas and flavours.
The fresh eau-de-vie is collected from the still and aged in various types of small oak cask, of different ages and “toasted” to different levels, in order to avoid excessive bitterness caused by undue tannins or oak.
Ferrand Ambré is produced under the traditional method. Is a youngish cognac, floral and fresh cognac, of perhaps 4+ years aged in the barrel.
