Fonseca Port

The house of Fonseca traces its origins in 1815 by firm’s founder João dos Santos Fonseca. Four families did shape the company’s destiny since, but was in 1949 that Yeatman’s and their descendants steered it successfully.

Fonseca owns three main mountainous vineyards, which are located in different parts of the best wine-growing areas of the Douro region: Quinta do Cruzeiro, Quinta de Santo António, and Quinta do Panascal.

Vintage Ports

Vintage Port represents the very best produce of a single outstanding year. It remains in the vat for only about two years and then ages in bottle. Vintage Ports will continue to age and improve in bottle for decades.
