Jim Beam has been making bourbon since 1795, by the Boehm family who arrived to America in 1740 and Americanized their German name to “Beam.”

Jim Beam is made of a mix of corn (at least 51%), rye and malted barley. This is what’s known as “mash bill”.

The water from Kentucky sits on a natural limestone shelf that acts as a filter, creating iron-free, calcium-rich water.

After the fermentation process, whiskey is distilled twice for a smooth flavour.

The ageing process happens into brand-new, level-4 charred, American white oak barrels.
