La Maison Lillet was founded by brothers Raymond and Paul Lillet in 1872 in the small village of Podensac, France.

Lillet is a subtle blend of French wines and macerated liqueurs produced in the renowned winemaker region of Bordeaux.

The maceration is processed separately using fruits, peels, and barks and being slowly cold-soaked in alcohol.

After several weeks of extracting the flavours, the liquid is run off and the fruits are pressed.

The two parts are mixed in a vat, stirred and aged in oak for a few months to combine.
