Paradise
Paradise cocktail was first published in Harry McElhone 1927 Barflies and Cocktails and later in Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.
The recipe changes slightly from one book to another. In Barflies and Cocktails, the recipe calls for equal parts of gin, apricot brandy and orange juice. On the other hand, The Savoy Cocktail Book adjusted the measures and adds a dash of lemon juice.
Paradise cocktail is also recognized by the International Bartenders Association (IBA) as The Unforgettables. The recipe omits lemon juice.
