Paul Masson is an American brand of wine and brandy named after the man itself.

The story of the company starts back in 1852 by Charles Lefranc, who owned Almaden Vineyard and Wine Company.

However, was only 1878, during the phylloxera plague, that Masson emigrated from Burgundy in France to California in USA, where they come to meet.

Paul Masson was a pioneer in California’s wine-making, he created and popularized the first American sparkling wine.

Paul Masson V.S. is a smoothly sophisticated brandy crafted in the European tradition and aged for three years in oak barrels.
