The story of Rémy Martin dates back to 1724 when a young winegrower in Cognac, begins selling cognac under his own name.

 

But was only in 1738 that King Louis XV of France grants Rémy Martin the rare right to plant new vines in recognition of the excellence of his cognacs.

 

Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. was created in 1927 by Rémy Martin’s Cellar Master André Renaud.

 

Made of eau-de-vie exclusively from the highest-quality vineyards of Cognac, the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.

 

In this case, Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. is ageing in French Limousin oak barrels for four years.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Bronze

Aroma: Vanilla, ripe apricot, baked apple, and an elegant floral note.

Taste: Great complexity, ripe fruit and subtle notes of liquorice.
