Seventh Heaven
The Seventh Heaven cocktail is a classic adapted from Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book. There, he writes two recipes as Seventh Heaven No.1 and No.2.
The recipes don’t have much in common but both had been followed by the next bartending generations being published in Jean Robert Meyer 1934 Bottoms Up and also in William J. Tarling’s 1937 Café Royal Cocktail Book.
Both followed the No.1 and simply named Seventh Heaven, ignoring the No.2.
