Van Winkle is a product from Buffalo Trace distillery located in Franklin County, and has been expanding since 1773.

The distillery’s rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor Jr, Albert B. Blanton, George T. Stagg, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee.

This bourbon whiskey is bottled at nearly barrel proof, with a splash of Kentucky limestone water is added after a decade of ageing.

Aroma: A sweet vanilla nose with caramel, pecan and oak wood

Taste: Smooth, mellow flavour consisting of robust wheat, cherries and oak. Smoky wheat finish with hints of fruit, spice and oak tannins.
